In addition
to the above, schools will be closed for pupils:

3 May 2004 (May Day Bank Holiday)

Thursday 6 May 2004 (for those schools used as polling
stations in local elections)
Five days
within the above terms are to be utilised for inservice
training activities. Two of these days should be taken
during the main holiday periods or as twilight sessions.
Schools used as polling stations on 6 May will need to
identify this as one of their designated training days.
All
training dates must be agreed by individual school Governing
Bodies.
One
occasional day to be determined by the Governing Body
except it may not be used until the last half of the Summer
term where the school is used as a Polling Station for a
parliamentary of general election of European election. |
