The Area |
Sunderland is a large city with sprawling, leafy suburbs with much Victorian and 1930's housing. The city centre has a wide variety of shops and offices as well as industrial and technology parks. Nearby Washington comprises mainly of newer properties and a large shopping centre. The area is well linked to Newcastle, Washington and lying on the coats, it has a very attractive beach at Seaburn. Seaburn Ashbroook and the Barnes are most desirable suburbs.
